Common Insurance Coverage Questions
Do you take my insurance?
We are in-network with most insurance plans. Please check with your plan to see if our office has an in-network provider and note that we are not in-network with any Medicaid insurances.
Is chiropractic care covered by insurance?
Yes, most health insurance plans cover chiropractic care.
Do I need a referral?
Most health plans do not require a referral but check with your plan to see if a referral is necessary.
Are there insurance restrictions on chiropractic treatment?
We recommend you check with your insurance company to understand your benefits and limitations for chiropractic care.
Treatments covered: Plans may cover certain types of chiropractic treatments, for example: manual adjustments, but not others like extremity manipulation. They may also exclude modalities, such as , acupuncture, TENS, cupping, laser therapy and traction.
Visit caps: Private insurance plans may limit the number of visits per year. For example: 12, 20 or 30 allowed visits a year. Check with your insurance plan for exact coverage.
Maintenance: Generally, insurance only covers medically necessary treatments for acute conditions. Maintenance or preventative is usually considered elective and not covered. welcome insurance and will maximize your benefits whenever possible.
